WEDDINGG - How did you meet and how was the marriage proposal?

Priscila - "We've known each other since we were little (our parents are friends), but we never had any relationship, except friendship. We met again years later, already grown up, at a party of a mutual friend and we ended up hooking up. However, I would leave a few months later to Paris, where I would live for 2 years for work. The relationship started like that, at a distance. For 2 years, I went back to Brazil or he went to Paris. After 2 years, I went back to Brazil and 1 year later he asked me to marry him. The request: after 1 year since I had returned to Brazil, I no longer expected it, I had already given up hope of a request soon. However, in 2013, on my birthday, we went out to dinner with my parents and he he didn't give me any presents, just flowers and a little note: "it's worth a romantic dinner". Only the next day, he came to pick me up from work, took me to a spa for two and then to dinner at Blú Bistrot. Very romantic. But no I expected nothing.Actually, I was pretty tired that day (it was Friday) as we had to travel early the next day. During dinner, Kima (Humberto's nickname) left the table many times to go to the bathroom. I thought he was feeling sick, I even asked if he didn't want to go home. But then, when he came back one of the times, he came with a Schutz bag (then I thought: I won a pair of shoes!). I went to open the box, and I noticed that there was a box inside another box and so on… until I got to a jewelry box. I still couldn't believe it. When I finally opened it, there was nothing! just a little note: "worth a declaration of love". Then he started to declare himself saying that he was keeping this moment for a long time, etc… until the final request. He told me that he was going to the bathroom several times so he could memorize the speech, and he took a small piece of paper out of his pocket! And I thought he had a stomach ache or something… lol! Even so, I think it took me about 5-10 minutes to realize what was going on and only then did I start crying with emotion! it was beautiful! :)".

WEDDINGG - What was it like to plan the Wedding and deal with the Doubts, Anxieties and also with the Hiring of Professionals?

Priscila - "It's really nice to finally plan your own wedding. But I learned that not always everything we dreamed of is possible, even because we have to agree on the wedding with the groom and families. In other words, I learned to prioritize points that I really insisted on giving another one. The wedding market is very competitive, there are options and budgets for everything. It's always good to do a lot of research and not fall into the old story: "it's just once in a lifetime…". budget, the important thing is to close according to your priorities and in a way that has your face and not that of the supplier."

WEDDINGG - How did you feel on the Wedding Day before everything started and what did you think when you listened to your Entrance Music with the door still closed?

Priscila - "I felt like I was in a dream, literally. I couldn't believe that this day had arrived, after exactly 1 year of planning. I thought: "it's now or never!" hahaha."

WEDDINGG - What was it like for you to live this experience of getting married?

Priscila - "It was all very fast, but with many details. As it was a Korean wedding, we had a lot of protocols to follow. We had a normal ceremony and a traditional Korean ceremony, where the bride and groom should dress in typical clothes and greet all members of the Groom's family. Symbolizes the bride's entry into the groom's family. During this ceremony, a "tea ceremony" is held, where relatives wish the couple much luck, happiness and love. In addition to throwing some traditional "fruits" that symbolize fertility to the couple. For Koreans, it is also very important to greet all the guest tables (imagine, we had 550 guests!) as a symbol of respect and appreciation for their presence. I also had to change clothes a couple of times. I had 1 dress in traditional white bride and 2 traditional korean wedding dresses After the korean ceremony, some weddings like mine have a ritual where the groom's friends pick him up to hit the soles of his feet like wooden sticks. Yes, the groom is beaten by his friends after all that! this to symbolize that the groom is leaving his friends to be with the bride. At that moment the mother-in-law (mother of the bride) and the bride must appear to "redeem" him. The rescue is done when the two introduce themselves to their friends and sing a song. it's pretty funny. Because we have so many protocols and a very big family, we were really looking forward to the party. that is, the time when the ballad would start so we could enjoy it!"

WEDDINGG - Tip from Bride to Bride?

Priscila - "We always dream of the perfect wedding, our way, but it doesn't hurt to share ideas with the groom."

Establish your total budget first. Prioritize the points where you are most keen to invest and make them look like you.

Not always the most expensive or most famous suppliers have the best option for you. Searching is everything. The important thing is to keep your face!

The day before, relax with your family or those closest to you, especially your parents. Think that it's not just you getting married, but it's a very special moment for the family too.

Eat before, during and after the ceremony! After so much regimen to get into the dress, on the wedding day it's free! LOL!
